“集善嘉年华”是一项旨在募集专项主题善款的公益演出和慈善活动，以“助无助者”为目标。自2004年起，“集善嘉年华”项目每年举办一届。每届根据残疾人事业发展的需要命名主题。通过现场募捐、晚宴、演艺明星和残疾人演员同台演出、慈善拍卖、抽奖等形式，汇聚政府领导、文艺界、企业界、社会名流等知名人士广泛参与，奉献爱心。筹集善款用于当届主题活动，促进残疾人事业发展，帮助残疾人解决困难。六年来，集善嘉年华一共募集善款3000余万元人民币。
2004年活动主题为“为了残疾儿童，同是祖国未来”，资助四川建设三所特教学校、救助3500多名贫困残疾儿童重返校园。
2005年活动主题为“关爱盲童光明行动”，资助四川、新疆、内蒙古、广西地区建设特教学校和特教班，出版了国内第一部完整意义上的盲文版现代汉语小词典。
2006年活动主题为“敞开心语，一路同行”，资助中国康复研究中心、北京大学附属精神卫生研究所儿童自闭症综合康复与研究项目。
2007年活动主题为“关注北京残奥会，助力中国残疾人体育代表团”，资助中国残疾人体育代表团购置设备和运动员奖励。
2008年活动主题为资助汶川地震灾区残疾儿童假肢装配和截瘫残疾人康复训练。

Charity Gala Ball
Charity Gala Ball is a public performance and charity activity developed to raise fund for special themes. Aimed to aid persons without aids, Charity Gala Ball has been held annually since 2004. The theme of every year’s Ball is decided according to the needs of the cause of persons with disabilities. The Ball takes various forms of on-site donation, banquet, stage performance by stars and persons with disabilities, charity auction and lucky draw. Governmental officials, celebrities from circles of literature and art and business world and public figures are gathered to participate extensively and donate their love at the Ball. The fund raised is used on the theme activity of the Ball to facilitate the development of the cause of persons with disabilities and help persons with disabilities to solve their difficulties. Charity Gala Ball has collected over 30 million RMB during its 6-year development.
The theme of 2004 Charity Gala Ball was “for the children with disabilities, the same futures of motherland”. Aiding Sichuan to build 3 special education schools and helping over 3,500 poor children with disabilities to return to schools.
The theme of 2005 Charity Gala Ball was “care for children with visual disability bright action”. Aiding Sichuan, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Guangxi to build special education schools and classes and published the first modern Chinese dictionary of Braille edition.
The theme of 2006 Charity Gala Ball was “open the heart, all the way together”. Aiding comprehensive rehabilitation and research project of autism carried out by China Rehabilitation Research Center and Peking University affiliated Research Institute of Mental Health.
The theme of 2007 Charity Gala Ball was “focusing Beijing Paralympic Games, supporting Chinese delegation”. Aiding Chinese delegation purchasing equipments and rewarding athletes . The theme of 2008 Charity Gala Ball was aiding disabled children in Wenchuan earthquake-stricken area for their prostheses installment and rehabilitation training of people with paraplegia.
